Pricing & Policies
Everything you need to know before requesting childcare with Summit Sitters
Rates
Hourly Rate: $45/hour for one child
Additional Children: +$3/hour per additional child
Minimum Reservation: 4 hours
Additional rates may apply for holidays, peak travel periods, weddings, special events, or specialized care requests. Any adjusted rates will always be discussed before your reservation is confirmed.
Reservation Requests
Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee caregiver availability. Your reservation is confirmed once a caregiver has accepted your request and you receive a confirmation email from Summit Sitters.
Payment
Payment is due at the completion of your reservation unless otherwise arranged.
We accept: Credit Card, Venmo, Cash
Changes & Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your reservation will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Reservations are billed for the hours originally scheduled. If you return earlier than planned, you will still be charged for the reserved time.
If you need to make changes to your reservation, please contact Summit Sitters as soon as possible.
Child Illness
Please notify us before your reservation if your child is experiencing a contagious illness. For the health and safety of everyone, Summit Sitters reserves the right to cancel or end a reservation if illness could pose a risk to the caregiver or others.
Transportation
For safety reasons, caregivers do not transport children in personal vehicles or supervise swimming, skiing, or snowboarding.
Parking fees or admission costs incurred during a reservation are the responsibility of the family.
Our Caregivers
Every Summit Sitters caregiver is carefully screened for professionalism, reliability, and childcare experience. Many have backgrounds in early childhood education, Montessori education, teaching, or professional nannying, and every sitter is CPR and First Aid certified.
By submitting a reservation request, you acknowledge that you have read the Pricing & Policies. If your reservation is accepted, you'll receive our complete Terms & Conditions to review and accept before your booking is finalized.
